What you need before you start
Three accounts in your name (Stripe, Cloudflare, an email service), Node.js, and a domain when you're ready. What each costs.
FunnelOnce runs on accounts you own, so your customers, payments and data stay yours. You don't need any of them to start: your agent builds and tests the whole site on your computer first, with fake payments. You connect them when you're ready to go live.
| Account | Cost | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Free to start. Workers Paid is $5 a month when traffic grows | Hosts your site, its data and its stats |
| Stripe | Per-sale fees only | Payments, payment plans, subscriptions, refunds |
| Amazon SES or Resend | SES: $0.10 per 1,000 emails. Resend: free up to 100 a day | Order emails, your free gift, follow-ups, campaigns |
| A domain | About $10 a year | Your address. Optional at first |
| Node.js 20+ | Free, from nodejs.org | Your agent uses it to build and test |
Which email service?
- Resend is the quickest start. Its free plan sends 100 emails a day. Each free sign-up gets about six emails over a week, so past roughly 15 sign-ups a day the follow-ups use it up.
- Amazon SES costs $0.10 per 1,000 emails with no monthly fee. Setup takes about 15 minutes, plus about a day for AWS to approve sending to everyone. Use it if you expect to grow.
Either way, order and sign-in emails always go first, and nothing is dropped when you hit a day's limit: the rest waits for the next free moment. More in Set up your emails.
Your keys stay on your computer
Your agent never asks you to paste a key into the chat. It tells you which file to put each key in (sites/<your-site>/.secrets), and that file is never shared or uploaded anywhere except to your own Cloudflare account.
FAQ
Can I start without a domain?
Yes. The site runs on a free workers.dev address until you add your domain to Cloudflare.
Do I need a company to use Stripe?
Stripe accepts individuals and companies in most countries. It asks for your details and a bank account for payouts when you activate live payments.
